Zion Hill Cemetery was built upon ground given to the Lutheran and Reformed congregation by Frederick and Hannah Wolfe in 1841.  The land was originally Peter Zuck’s property, patented in 1738, and later owned by the Wolfs. The cemetery was under the care of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church until 1958 when it became a separate entity.
